There's this Android application that uses SNMP to connect to a device.
I was provided with the configuration details of the SNMP such as the community string and the specific oid number that the Android app needs to retrieve.
I've already installed and configured the SNMP package on my Galileo device but when I check to see the oid result by runnning snmpwalk command it doesn't return anything.
So, I'm guessing I have to register the unknown oid on my Galileo board in order for the Android app to retrieve a string from the specific oid number.
Do I make sense? I'm really a newbie to Linux and this hardware thing. Thanks for your help.
