The registry fix in #19 is for an old version of driver. I have Windows 8.1 and this has worked for me:
[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\igfxDTCM]
This will get rid of the links in both the desktop context menu and the Windows Explorer context menus.
Be careful! There are no links to the control panel in the Start screen nor the Apps list! So if you also remove the tray icon, you may not have access to the control panel!
